The Department of Mathematics and Statistics has a constitution which delineates its methods of operation. Overall leadership is provided by the chair, associate chair, undergraduate director and graduate director. Activities of the department are supervised by a system of committees. The department council has monthly meetings. Although most committee and council members are faculty, staff and student representatives participate as well.
