Each year the department offers prizes and awards for outstanding achievements in mathematics and statistics courses. In particular, students are listed on the Chair's Honour Roll for achieving a high grade point average over all departmental courses. Awardees are honoured at the annual Department Awards Ceremony, and their names are displayed in the north fifth floor hall of the Ross Building as well as on the department web page.
