Some of our programs prepare students for careers in that specific area of study. For example, our actuarial program prepares students to become actuaries, our statistics program prepares students to become statisticians and our mathematics for education program prepares students to become math teachers. All our programs prepare students for further study in postgraduate and professional schools. However, math majors are not limited to graduate work in math. For example, they may also apply to law schools which are eager to admit them because of their abilities in logical reasoning and problem solving.
